Company profile

Braga S.p.a.

BRAGA S.P.A., FOUNDED IN 1974, HAS ALWAYS BEEN RECOGNIZED AS THE LEADING ITALIAN COMPANY IN THE PRODUCTION OF COMPONENTS FOR VENEERED AND LAMINATED INTERIOR DOORS.

Giuseppe Braga, replacing the solid wood, was the first to intuit the potential of interior door components with blockboard support, a guarantee of unalterability over time; quality products and service are the foundations on which he has built his history.
“Today Braga Spa is the hub of a group of companies that form an integrated structure.
The core of the structure has always remained in Italy at the Casalmaggiore (CR – Italy) headquarters, where the main phases of the processing cycle and the production of the complete range of finished products are carried out. Since the end of the 90s, the primary sawmill phase (production of blockboard supports) is carried out in Slovakia and Poland for the easy and wide availability of the raw material.”

In the Brugnera (PN – Italy) production unit, integrated in 2008 after the acquisition of a competitor, particular typology of wood profiles are realised.
Always in Italy, in Breda di Piave (TV), we also design and build since 2015 turnkey interior architectures (contract) and in Scandolara Ravara (CR – Italy), from 2018, we produce formworks. Unchanged passion, constant investments in production processes and the ability to innovate, anticipating and directing the market developments, are the keys of the success and Braga’s doors contribute to strengthen the prestige of the Made in Italy all over the world.

Supply chain and sustainability

THE CARE IN THE CHOICE OF RAW MATERIALS ALLOW US TO CREATE A HOMOGENEOUS FINAL PRODUCT, ELEGANT AND RESISTANT, WITH VERY HIGH STANDARD QUALITY.

Nevertheless, the passion for wood is also made of respect for the environment and its natural cycle. Trees have always been the beginning and the end of our entire production process. In fact, our supply chain starts and ends from the plant. Selected cuts, programmed plantings and the recycling of waste materials allow us to create quality products that respect nature and the environment.

The wood used to make our products, in nature, is substituted by planting new trees and the processing scraps of virgin wood, without glues or foreign agents, are used both as an alternative source for the production of heat and as a raw material for the production of biofuel (pellets).
